The aim of this study is for testing the relationship between adolescent-mother effective communication and adolescent’s self identity. The hypothesis of this study is there is a positive relationship between adolescent-mother effective communication and adolescent’s self identity. Subject for this study are 107 Senior High School students which belong to middle adolescence (15-18 years old) and live with their mother. Two questionnaires were applied to measure adolescent-mother effective communication and adolescent’s self identity. The correlation technique of product moment by Pearson is used for data analysis.
