MANAJEMEN KELAS DITINJAU DARI KEPRIBADIAN DAN TINGKAT STRES GURU DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS

This research aims to examine whether classroom management can be predicted by personality and level of stress. Regression analysis is used to examine the interaction between personality factors, level of stress and classroom management. Subjects of this research are senior high school teachers at Yogyakarta with these following criterias: (1). Teaching at a classroom, (2). Has worked at least 3 years and (3). A civil servant. 179 subjects are used to take the sample from 6 senior high school at Yogyakarta. The samples are selected by cluster random sampling. Instruments used are big five personality factors scale, level of stress scale and classroom management scale. The data is collected and analyzed by using Multiple Linear Regression technique. The result shows that personality factors and level of stress can be use as predictor for classroom management.
