Abstract Happiness is a very important thing in life even in adolescent period. Adolescents' happiness become an urgent thing since there is increased pressure to adolescent from the environment. By the time the number of adolescent user and suicide has been increased and it's become a fact that adolescent experience unhappy life. This study examined the effect of attachment, friendship quality and academic achievement on adolescents' happiness. A total of 203 Junior High School student in Bantul (12 to 15 year) participate in this study. Data about happiness, attachment and friendship quality were measured by scale despite academic school record that used to gain data about academic achievement.
