This research purposed to reveal whether there is distinction over self-regulated learning between student at Al Falah Tropodo primary school which using character education and students at Kepu Kiriman primer school which using conventional education, concerning emotional intelligent controls. 50 students from each school, means total 100 students, at fifth grade were functioned as research sample. The data were analyzed using covariant method. The result shows that there is distinction over self-regulated learning between students who involve in character education and student who involve in conventional education.
