THE EFFECT OF PERCEPTION (JOB INVOLVEMENT OF LEADER, LEADER PROFESSIONALISM, EMPLOYEES’ TRUST

This study is aimed at examining the relationship of job involvement of leader, professionalism of leader, employees’ trust toward leader and fairness of leader and employees’ commitment. Data gathering for this study uses purposive sampling and proportional technique. The objects of this study were 136 employees at PT. Bosowa Corporation. Each participant was given five scales which were job involvement, leader professionalism, employees’ trust, leader fairness and employees’ commitment. Based on the multiple regression analysis techniques, the result showed: first, there was a significant relationship among job involvement of leader, leader professionalism, employees’ trust to the leader, and fairness of leader and employees’ commitment (R = 0373, and p 0.05). Fifth, there was no significant relationship between perception of leader fairness to leader and employees’ commitment (p = 0.189; p> 0, 05) Key words: employees’ commitment, perception, job involvement of leader, leader professionalism, employees’ trust to leader, fairness of leader
