GLASS CEILING EFFECT DITINJAU DARI EFIKASI DIRI DAN PERAN GENDER

This research is aiming to analyze the differences of self efficacy and gender role concerning to glass ceiling effect which is happening at woman activist in political party. Data from this research collected through three scales, those are; self efficacy scale, scale of gender role, and scale of glass ceiling effect. Subject of this research are the women whose becoming activist in three parties: Golongan Karya, Partai Persatuan Pembangunan, and Partai Republika Nusantara. N = 127. Data which have gathered then analyzed with 2 way ANOVA programme. Based on major hypothesis, there is no interaction or influence between self efficacy and gender role relate to glass ceiling effect. In other word, there are no differences of self efficacy and gender role to glass ceiling effect. The result obtained from examination with analytical technique 2 way ANOVA. The result based on the analysis are, F = 0,637 and p = 0,593. In addition, minor hypothesis indicates that there are differences of level of self efficacy which is really significant to glass ceiling effect (F = 11,107 with p = 0,001), while for variable of gender role, it is found that there are no differences of gender role to glass ceiling effect ( F = 1.051 with p = 0,374).
