PENGARUH INTENSITAS KOMUNIKASI DAN IKLIM ORGANISASI TERHADAP KEPUASAN KARYAWAN

This research aimed to investigate the effects of communication intensity and organization climate on employee satisfaction. Employees being considered as vital resource of company, and then their satisfaction will be a crucial factor in order to gain loyality, motivation, and dedication to the company itself. The research is a quantitative survey and the population is the employee of PT. Telkom, Tbk Medan, Sumatra Utara. Subjects were 100 employees, they were taken by purposive sampling method. The questionnaire consists of three measuring scales, they are communication intensity scale, organization climate scale and employee satisfaction scale. Data was analyzed by using SPSS 16.00 with linear regression as the method. The research found that there is a significant effect of communication intensity on employee satisfaction. Organization climate also founded have significant effects on employee satisfaction. And finally all the predictor variables that are communication intensity and organization climate, together have a significant effect on employee satisfaction with total effect 63,3%.
