2009 | Tesis |Recently, many organization realize that knowledge is the most valuable asset as a competitive advantage. Knowledge management becomes a popular program to increase the value of organization knowledge. Knowledge sharing is the most important activity in the knowledge management system. This study investigates the factors affecting employee knowledge sharing behavior within an organization by employing existing theories. By using the theory of planned behavior model and augment it with the personality factor , this research is aimed to get information about the effects of personality type (extraversion), attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control on knowledge sharing intention. The research is a survey method and the population is the employees of An-Nur Surgery Hospital Yogyakarta, with account about 80 employee. The sample were taken are 49 person by used the purposive sampling. The instruments that is used to get data is the questionnaire of Likert’s Scale. The reliability of the instruments are accounted by using alpha cronbach formula, the result are cronbach alpha for extraversion is 0, 0,883, attitude is 0,871, subjective norm is 0,768, perceived behavioral control is 0,843 and intention to share is 0,815. The data is analysed by using descriptif statistic, and the hypothesis test is using linear regression analysis. The research found that extraversion, attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral together have a positive effect on knowledge sharing intention with R2= 0, 424. The research also found that extraversion and attitude have positif effect on intention to share, meanwhile subjective norm and perceived behavioral control have no positif effect on knowledge sharing intention.
