This research aimed to know personality type and coping strategic related to mother’s self adjusment of children with special needs. Data collected by self adjusment scale, personality type scales (Eysenck Personality Questionnaire) and coping strategic scales (coping scale). The subjects of this research are thirty seven mothers from children with special needs who studied their children on the school and education institution for children with special needs in Yogyakarta province. The characteristic of research subject are mothers who are 17 – 50 years old, having children with autism disturbing, ADHA or mental retardation (child with special needs).
