Education institutional has central role for encourage student adversity, islamic boarding school are combined system for modern education and religius tradisional education through education method for boarding school. The research subjects are 60 female and male students islamic boarding school of Darul Hijrah Cindai Alus Martapura. Simple random sampling is used to take the sample. Adversity scale, self concept scale and social skills scale are used as research instruments. The data analysis is done by regression of two predictor analysis, and processed by statistic program SPSS version 15.00 for Windows. The hypotheses in this research are (1) there is a correlation between self concept and social skills with adversity on student of islamic boarding school (2) there is positive correlation between self concept and adversity on student of islamic boarding school (3) there is positive correlation between social skills and adversity on student of islamic boarding school Result of the research shows that there is a significant correlation between concept and social skills with adversity on student of islamic boarding school with F = 11.955, r = 0.544 dan p = 0.000 (p
