Husband’s expression of emotions has its role in his wife’s psychological adjustment to breast cancer. This study used qualitative methods with phenomenology approaches. The participants of this studied are three couple of married men and wife who are diagnosed with breast cancer. In-dept interview and observation methods were used to collect the data. Results show that women’s psychological adjustments to breast cancer are related to some sources : religious beliefs and attend religious services actively, family supports especially emotional support from their husbands and of children, personal characteristic that has been examined include optimism, and emotional support from their social networking. Study about husband’s expression of emotions shows that husbands’ expression of emotions has its role in their wife’s psychological adjustment to breast cancer. Nevertheless, husbands are less expressive to show positive emotions such as love, adore and happiness, therefore husbands’ expression of emotions are valuable in caring and support their wife during medical treatment and recovery.
