This research aimed to examine the role of friend quantity, friendship quality and self esteem to the loneliness at adolescence. The hypotheses proposed in this research was friend quantity, friendship quality, and self esteem plays role in affecting loneliness at adolescence. The research participants were 114 adolescent, 12 to 18 years old, consisted of 77 girls and 37 boys. The data collection was done by using loneliness scale, friendship scale and self esteem scale. This study employed quantitative approach and regression analysis technique. The result showed that the friend quantity, friendship quality, and self esteem significantly played role in affecting the level of loneliness at adolescence (F= 12.48, R² = 0.254, p
