EFEKTIVITAS MODUL “IBU BIJAK” UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN IBU TENTANG KETRAMPILAN PENGASUHAN ANAK

Many parents felt worthless for being a good parents that came from the lack of practices and skills in this role. This research was aimed to find out the effectivity of “Ibu Bijak” Module toward the knowledge of parenting skills. More over this research was aimed to find out the difference of knowledge of parenting skills between experimental group and control group. The subject was 25 mothers, 10 mothers were grouped into experimental group and 15 mothers were grouped into control group. The research using Knowledge of Parenting Skills Scale to measure the knowledge of parenting skills. Pretest-posttest control group design was used as the experimental design of this research, and the data were analyzed by t-test. The result showed there was a significant difference of parenting skills knowledge between experimental group and control group (t=3,343; p=0,001). The experimental group showed higher parenting skills knowledge (Mean=154,6) than the control group (Mean=137,3). According to the research result, the “Ibu Bijak” Module was effective in increasing the knowledge of parenting skills.
