DEPRESI PADA PENDERITA DIABETES MELITUS DITINJAU DARI EFIKASI DIRI, DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN RELIGIUSIT

The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between self efficacy, social support and religiousity with depression of diabetes mellitus patients. There are tree hypothesis of this research: (1) There is negative correlation between self eficacy with depression of diabetes mellitus patients (2) There is social support with depression of diabetes mellitus patients (3) There is religiousity with depression of diabetes mellitus patients. The research used porposive sampling. The subjects of this research were 60 diabetes mellitus patients of the Rumah Sakit Haji Surabaya. Every subject was given four scales. The depression scale, the self efficacy scale, the social support scale and the religiousity scale. The research analysis used was regression analysis with SPS-2000 (statistic program series of 2000) Sutrisno Hadi and Yuni Pamardiningsih edition: The resulth of this research found that (1) There is correlation and very significant between self efficacy with depression of diabetes mellitus patients (r=0,249; p=0,00), (2) There is not correlation between social support with depression of diabetes mellitus patients (r=0,818; p=0,00), (3) There is correlation and very significant between religiousity with depression of diabetes mellitus patients (r=0,722; p=0,00).
