Prediksi Depresi Berdasarkan Kepekaan Humor dan Dukungan Sosial pada Penderita HIV dan AIDS

2008 | Tesis |The research is aimed predicting depression based on sense of humor and social support in patients with HIV and AIDS. Subjects were 60 patients with HIV and AIDS at Non Governance Organization X in Yogyakarta. This research used quantitative research method. Each participant completed three scales: 1). Coping Humor Scale (CHS), 2) Social Support Scale, and 3). Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). Multiple regression analysis was used as a statistical method. Result of this research suggest that: 1). Sense of humor and social support are no significant predicting depression in patients with HIV and AIDS (R=0,264; p= 0,128; or p>0,05). 2) Sense of humor are no significant predicting depression in patients with HIV and AIDS (R=0,034; p=0,795; or p>0,05). 3) Social support are significant predicting depression in patients with HIV and AIDS (R=0,263; p=0,043; or p
