The aim of this study was to examine the correlation between self concept and adjustment of physically disabled person. This study also intended to reveal the difference of physically disabled persons adjustment observed from gender. The subject of this study were physically disabled person age between 17 to 30 years, the disability occurred in adolescence and their disabilities were classified as moderate and light. There were 45 disabled person involved in this research. The questionnaires self concept and adjustment used to collect the data. The data were analyzed by using correlation of product moment and t-test. The calculation were used the SPSS 13 for windows. The result of the correlation analysis that there was a very significant and positive correlation between self concept and adjustment ( r = 0,515; sign = 0,000). The result of t-test analysis indicate that there was no difference between the adjustment on male and female of physically disabled person (t = 431; sign. = 0, 669).
