Prevalence of breast cancer tends to increase and this matter caused stress or high depression to its sufferer, because cancer is the highest rank disease causing the death. This research was aimed to find out relationship between social support and five personality factors with depression experienced by a breast cancer sufferer. Data collecting was done by using scale method. Respondens in this research was 60 breast cancer sufferers that has been enduring hospitalization or out patient at Arifin Ahmad Regional Public Hospital, Pekanbaru, Riau. We used double regression analysis technique. This research result indicated there was significant relation between five personality factors and social support with depression experienced by a breast cancer sufferer that had value F = 2,354, R2 = 0,210, and p = 0,043. There was nirsignificant between neuroticism and depression experienced by a breast cancer sufferer with beta = 0,124, t = 0,789, and p = 0,433. There was a negative and significant relation between extrovert and depression experienced by a breast cancer sufferer wif beta = -0, 356, t = -2, 492, and p = 0,016. There was nirsignificant between agreeablesness and depression experienced by a breast cancer sufferer with beta = 0,207, t = 1, 357, and p = 0, 175. There was nirsignificant between consientiousness and depression experienced by a breast cancer sufferer with beta = 0,093, t = 0,654, and p = 0,516. There was nirsignificant between openness to experiences and depression experienced by a breast cancer sufferer with beta = -0,292, t = -1,804, and p = 0,077. There nirsignificant relation between social support and depression experienced by a breast cancer sufferer with beta = 0,052, t = -0,357, and p = 0,722.
