ERILAKU KONSUMTIF PADA REMAJA PUTRI TINGKAT AKHIR DITINJAU DARI GAYA HIDUP MATERIALISTIS DAN KEPRIBA

2008 | Tesis |The research was aimed to examine the correlation between materialistic lifestyle, big five personality, Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness to Experience, Agreeableness and Conscientiousness with teenage girl’s consumptive behavior. The subject were female students of the Economy Faculty in Riau University, Pekanbaru, the total number of the subjects were 110. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine the sample of the research. The characteristics of the research subject were: (1) female students in the Faculty of Economy in Riau University, Pekanbaru (2) female students that ranged between 17 to 22 years of age. The instrumens were scale of consumptive behavior, materialistic lifestyle scale and big five personality scale. The responses of questionnaires used 4- Likert point. Data analysis methode used in this research was regression analysis. Hyphothesis shows that materialistic lifestyle and big five personality gave contribution to the teenage girl’s consumptive behavior.
