PENGARUH PELATIHAN KETRAMPILAN PENGASUHAN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN INTERAKSI ORANGTUA-ANAK DAN PENURUNA

2008 | Tesis |The research was aimed to examine the effectiveness of parenting-skill training increased parent-child interaction and decreased parental stress level of parents with adolescence drug abuser. Parenting-skill training was activities for parents with adolescence drug abuser to learn and practice about : addiction and relapse prevention, parenting dimension (care, control and communication) , identifying and managing stress. The research was conducted experimentally using the pre test post test group design. The measurements were based on a scale which were carried out three times on the subjects, i.e. at the pre test, the post test-1 (after training), and the post test-2 (two weeks after the measurement). A quantitative analysis derived with one-way kovarians analysis. Futhermore, a qualitative analysis was done derived from the in-depth interview results, the training evaluation and the observation during the training. The subjects of this study were 22 women who member of Yayasan Arofah which were splitted into a control group (11 women) and an experimental group (22 women). Subjects were mothers of adolescence drug abuser. The results showed that : (1) There was a very significant difference in parent-child interaction before and after parenting-skill training in experimental group. Parent-child interaction increased after received parenting-skill training than before ( post test 1 = 104,727 dan post test 2 = 111,091). (2) There was a very significant difference in parental stress level before and after parenting- skill training in experimental group. Parental stress level decreased after received parenting-skill training ( post test 1 = 80,455 dan post test 2 = 75,818). (3) There was a very significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in parent-child interaction after parenting-skill training.
