KECEMASAN MENGHADAPI UJIAN AKHIR SEKOLAH, MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA DALAM UJIAN AK

This research aimed to know the correlation between (1) the anxiety of the student in facing the school final exam and learning achievement, (2) learning motivation and achievement in the school final exam at term 2006/2007 in Junior High School (SMP) 8 Yogyakarta. The numbers of sample are 209. The data was got collected using the questionaires and documentation and analyzed by SPS Sutrisno Hadi. The first hypothesis analyzed using regression analysis. From the analysis was got the equation Y = 7.357 + 0.168X1 – 0.11X2. The value of F-test is 4.626 and p = 0.005. The relative contribution of X1 is 46.893, whereas effective contribution is 2.022, in other side, the relative contribution of X2 is 53.107 and the effective contribution is 2.290, so the effective total contribution is 4.312. The second hypothesis tested using partial correlation. The result shows that the correlation between X1 and Y is 0.143 and the p-value is 0.036
