2007 | Tesis |The purpose of this study was to explore the emotional experience of employee in dealing with organizational change. It is helped to understand the emotional experience dynamic and how it the fasilitated the strategy to deal organizational change. This research used phenomenological approach. Data was collected from six Bosowa Corporation employees as respondent, used in-depth interview. Respondents were pool by using “snow-ball” technique and were chosen by purposive sampling. The validity of research result used intersubjective validity. This research found out that emotional experience is employee’s feelings which occur during the implementation of organizational change, such as: happy, proud, disappointment, and upset. These feelings rise due to restructuring of organization, unreadiness of organization in implementing organizational change, and limited employee’s ability and skill. These feelings are regarded as motivation and tension source which affects employees means and strategy in dealing with changes, and therefore their working behavior.
