2007 | Tesis |A study about job satisfaction need to be done because an unsatisfied female worker could derived negative impacts, such as demotivation, absenteeism, even lead to turnover. Married female workers usually experience Work-Family Conflict (WFC) because they have difficulties to balance their job responsibilities with family life. Thereby, company need to create a family-supportive work environment that suppose to minimize WFC and improve job satisfaction. A study to 81 female workers at Cicendo Eye Hospital Bandung resulted that there was a positive correlation between a family-supportive work environment and job satisfaction (r = 0,479), also there was a negative correlation between WFC and job satifaction (r = 0,333). A stepwise regresssion analyses showed that family-supportive work environment and WFC had contribution of 28,7% to job satisfaction. Among those two factors, family-supportive work environment considered as the main predictor of job satisfaction.
