The study aims to see examine empirically the correlation between the maturity religious Islamic and democratic rearing pattern with emotion intelligence of adolescents. The hypothesis states that there was positive correlation between the mature religious Islamic and adolescent’s emotion intelligence, and there was positive correlation between democratic rearing pattern and adolescent’s emotion intelligence. This research emplayed purposive random sampling technique. The subjects of this research were 165 studens of SMA Muhammadiyah I Magelang, 16 – 18 years of age, 11 and 12 class and live with their parents. Three instrumens were administered to gather data, the maturity religious Islam scale, Democratic rearing pattern scale and emotion intelligence scale. The data gathered to be analysed by using regression analysis. The result of this research are : (1).
