KESUKSESAN PERAN GANDA WANITA KARIR DITINJAU DARI DUKUNGAN SUAMI, OPTIMISME, DAN STRATEGI COPING

The dual career can be made more optimal if they get support from the husbands, getting the optimism and if they are able to do the coping strategy on the faced problems. The aim of this research was to find out the relation between the husband’s support, the optimism and the coping strategy with dual work career. The research consists of one bound variable, that is the dual work career and three free variable, they are the husband’s support, the optimism and the coping strategy. The data collection was done by using scale method. The subjects of the research are 65 employees of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Office Kutoarjo, Purworejo, Kebumen, Sleman and Katamso which were chosen by using random sampling. The technique of data analysis which was used is multivariate regression with stepwise method. The research was findings show that there was a significant relation between the husband’s support, the optimism and the coping strategy with dual work career with F = 9.946, R2 = 0.328, and p 0.000. There were a positive and significant relation between the husband’s support with dual work career with the beta = 0.231, t = 1.753, and p = 0.042. While in the optimism and dual work career there were no relation between them with the beta = 0.101, t = 0.672, and p = 0.252. Then, in the coping strategy and dual work career there were a positive and significant relation, with beta = 0.346, t = 2.542, and p = 0.007.
