PERILAKU AGRESIF PADA BUDAYA CAROK DI MADURA DITINJAU DARI KEMATANGAN EMOSI DAN KONTROL DIRI

This study aimed to examine the relationship between emotional maturity and self-control in relation to aggressive behavior of Carok Culture in Madura. The subject of this research were 60 man that have carok behavior and by public called preman. The research use quantitative and interview approach. This research used incidental sampling to get the sampling. Each participant completed three scales: aggressive behavior scales, emotional maturity scales and self-control scales. Regression and variance analysis was used as a statistical method. The result of this research suggest that: (1) there is no significant correlation between emotional maturity, self-control and aggressive behavior (carok) by R = 0,044 and p = 0,278; (2) there is no significant correlation between emotional maturity and aggressive behavior (R=-0,210 and p = 0,106); (3) there is no significant correlation between self-control and aggressive (R=0,021 and p = 0,868); (4) there is no significant distinction between educational rate and aggressive behavior.
