ANALISIS BUTIR SOAL BAHASA ARAB KELAS V MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH NEGERI DENGAN METODE PENYETARAAN

2007 | Tesis |This reseach aims to find out : (1) the characteristics of Arabic Language questionnaire items in the first semester final examination on the fifth class ; (2) the formulation of horizontal equating test tool in the first semester of fifth class Islamic Elementary School in Banda Aceh; (3) the ability of fifth class students toward the mastery of the first semester Arabic language lesson in Banda aceh. The sources of data used in this research were fifth class students of Islamic Elementary School in Banda Aceh amount to 899 students. The answers used here were the answers in Arabic language test. The items used in equation had been filtered through items analysis, both classic and modern analysis. Parameter estimation was done based on 3 parameter logistic model and then analyzed with BILOG 3.07 program. The equating process was done by the characteristics curve methods using Excel Program. The result of the study showed: (1) there were 31 questionnaire items that fulfilled the requirements of equating method in the first semester final examination on fifth class ; (2) conversion constanta of the horizontal equating which is producted were : a). the equating scale of item difficulty level from group I to group II was : by* = 1,128 bx – 0,326; b). the equating scale of students ability from group I to group II was : θy* = 1,128 θx – 0,326; (3) the equating of item difficulty level from the test tool of group I had a decrease, therefore it was concluded that the test tool of group I was easier than group II; (4) mastery lesson of students in group II was higher than group I.
