The aim of this study was to analyze the psychometric properties of the SKHIR (the Indonesian translation of the QIDA; Inglés, Méndez, & Hidalgo, 2000). SKHIR is suitable for adolescents between the ages of 12 and 18 years old. In this study, SKHIR was administered to a sample of 637 middle and high school pupils. Using confirmatory factor analysis and item-total correlations we found evidence that 4 of 40 items were discarded from this study, 36 retaining aitems were analyzed by graded response model for ordered polytomous data and 6 items were found as discarded items. The final result indicated that 30 of 40 items had desirable psychometric properties. It is concluded that the SKHIR can be recommended for further use.
