KESIAPAN DAN KETEKUNAN BELAJAR MAHASISWA KEGURUAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI AKADEMIK MELALUI MET

2006 | Tesis |The purposes of this research are to know about the difference of average academic achievement between the students who study using the student centered learning method and the ones who are not using it, and also the relationship between readiness and study persistence of the students to increase academic achievement. The subjects of this research were 37 students from class D5 and 30 students from class E5 in D-II PGSD Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan UNY Karang Malang Yogyakarta. The data were collected by two questionnaires/scales, the scale of readiness and study persistence and the students’s achievement value documentations. The data were analyzed using t-test and regression analysis with the support of SPSS for windows 12.0 version. The result showed : 1) there was no difference of academic achievement between the students who studied using the student centered learning method and the ones who were not using it (t = -1,064; p > 0,05), and 2) there was a very significant correlation between readiness and study persistence with the academic achievement (F = 64,162; R = 0,817; R2 = 0,667; p
