DINAMIKA PSIKOLOGIS KORBAN KEKERASAN TERHADAP ISTRI (Studi Kasus RJ-Penelitian Kualitatif)

Qualitative research with case studi design is aimed for knowing and understanding deeply about a wife experiences who she was an abuse victim. This case study was done because it the victim is a young woman of eighteen years old. The violence had begun from duting period and had continued during the marriage. Data collecting were done by indepth interview, observation, short message system and documentation study. Data collection strarted at August, 25 2005 until August, 30 2006. Research result validity was using intersubjecttivity validity, verbatim transcript was corrected by the research subject. Research result showed that the victim had life motivation struggle which accelerated the recovery process. Victim has hardiness as a personality and suffivient social support. These influenced her coping strategies in facing the stressful situation. Key word: wife abuse, hardiness personality, social support, coping and case study.
