This research aims at identifying the relation beetwen the locus of control and optmism, and psychological weel being among the teenagers. This study used purposive sampling to get the samples and included 132 students, consisting of 66 students of SMUN 6 Yogyakarta and 66 students of SMUN 1 Turi Sleman. The locus of control, optimism and psychological weel being were assessed using locus of control, optimism and psychological well being scales, using Likert scale model. The collected data was analyzed using multiple regression, supported by Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 11.5 for windows.
