PERAN PERSEPSI DUKUNGAN ORGANISASI DAN KARAKTERISTIK KEPRIBADIAN TERHADAP KONTRAK PSIKOLOGIS

2006 | Tesis |This present research was aimed to identify the roles of perceived organizational support and personal characteristics on psychological contract. Two hundred forty-four government employees working at the Local Secretariat Office (Setda) of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta province were involved in this research. Data were collected based on 3 scales, i.e. perceived organizational support, big five personality and psychological contract scales. Regression analysis was exploited to analyze data. The results indicated that a). significant correlations were found between perceived organizational support and personal characteristics on relational contract (R = 0.478), transactional contract (R = 0.531) and balanced contract (R = 0.516), b). organization values to employee’s contribution aspect showed significant relationship with relational contract (r = 0.199), transactional contract (r = - 0.246) and balanced contract (r = 0.270), c). organization cares about employee’s well-being aspect only indicated significant relationship with relational contract (r = 0.171) and transactional contract (r = - 0.087), d). personal characteristics of significant relationship with relational contract was openness to experience (r = 0.147), e). personal characteristics of significant with transactional contract involved emotional stability (r = - 0.129), agreeableness (r = - 0.132), conscientiousness (r = - 0.081) and openness to experience (r = 0.191), f). personal characteristics of significant relationship with balanced contract involved emotional stability (r = 0.108) and openness to experience (r = 0.311).
