The aim of this research is to identify the difference of stress level in old persons between men and women, which lived with their family or separated with them in PWRI Situbondo. This research is using 85 samples of old person. Purposive random sampling is the method in this research with the descriptions as follows: the age between 65-70 years old, men and women, at least a graduated from senior high school, lived with their family or lived alone, marital status is married and have grandson. The data about marital status is received based on information from the subject. In validity calculation, researcher used a approach for testing correlation of score item with the summary of total score. The result concludes that from 40 items,25 of them passed and the rest of it (number 2, 3, 4, 10, 17, 21, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31,32, 34, 35) failed. Coefficient of validity is between 0.031 until 0.467 with the number of significance 5%. Reliability test executed with alpha cronbach analysis and gain the number of rtt 0.715. Not to forget, data analysis must be executed also with anava method. From that method, indicate the average result of old men(M=66,800) which lived with their family is bigger than they who lived separated from their family (M=61,348). And for those old women who lived with their family have the average rate bigger (M=68,381) than they who lived separately with their family (M=66,190). It means that there is different ratio stress in old people between they who lived separated and for those who lived together with their family. In other words, the stress in old people did not influent by the place where their living.
