The purpose of this research was to understand the relationship between materialism value and self esteem with happiness among adolescence. There were two independent variables, namely materialism value and self esteem, while happiness was dependent variables. Its major hypothesis was the correlation between self esteem and materialism value with happiness among adolescence. There were two minor hypotheses in this research. 1) It was correlation between materialism value with happiness among adolescence. 2) It was correlation between self esteem with happiness among adolescence. The sample were 120 students, consisting of 50 boys and 70 girls from student in SMAN I Wonosari. They were selected by cluster random sampling. The data were collected by means of three questionnaires, namely materialism value, self esteem scale happiness questionnaires. The data were analyzed by regression analysis. The result indicated that self esteem and materialism value were very significantly correlated with happiness adolescence (F: 43,291; R: 0,652; R2: 0,425; p: 0,000), from student in SMAN I Wonosari. Meanwhile, the effective contribution was 42,530 %. The results of simultaneous regression analysis indicated that materialism value were not significantly correlated with happiness adolescence, with r-parsial -0,099, p 0,270 and the effective contribution was 0,572 %. Second hypothesis was accepted, that self esteem was very significantly correlated with happiness adolescence, with r-parsial 0,630, p 0,000, and the effective contribution was 41,958 %.
