PERBANDINGAN METODE KAI-KUADRAT LORD, LUAS DAERAH BERTANDA DAN TIDAK BERTANDA RAJU, DAN UJI PERBAN

This research compares methods for detection of differential item functioning (DIF) under item response theory : Lord’s Chi-square, Signed and Unsigned Area Raju, and Likelihood Ratio Test. The data were based on items from Dirasat Islamiyah subtes of UIN entrance examination 2005/2006. Items which are analyzed to detect DIF were items which have been selected by CTT and item response theory procedures. Detection of DIF under Lord’s Chi-square, Signed and Unsigned Area Raju, and The Likelihood Ratio Test were analyzed by using the software packages : EQUATE 2.1, IRTDIF 1.0, and BILOG 3.07. The software package Mathcad 12 was used for drawing ICC. Results of the comparisons indicated that there was different agreement in the detection of DIF items among the methods. Likelihood ratio test was more sensitive than the others, therefore Likelihood ratio test is recommended for most practical applications. Keywords : Item Response Theory, DIF, DIF methods.
