KEPRIBADIAN ISLAM AKTIVIS DAKWAH DITINJAU DARI TARBIYYAH ISLAMIYYAH

This research aimed to identify association between tarbiyyah islamiyyah and its aspect and Islamic personality of Islamic missionary activists. There are two hypothesis presented in this research: (1) there is association between tarbiyyah islamiyyah and Islamic personality of Islamic missionary activists, and (2) there is association between aspects of tarbiyyah islamiyyah and Islamic personality of Islamic missionary activists. Research subjects are activist students of Gerakan Mahasiswa (Gemma) Pembebasan of Gadjah Mada University participating in tarbiyyah islamiyyah. Total number of subject is 70 people taken using purposive sampling technique. Data is collected using Islamic Personality Scale and Tarbiyyah Islamiyyah Scale. Result of data analysis using multiple regression indicated that there is association between tarbiyyah islamiyyah and Islamic personality of Islamic missionary activists (R2=0.616) and there is association between tarbiyyah islamiyyah aspects and Islamic personality of Islamic missionary activists (R2=0.614), except for shihiyyah aspect that not influence Islamic personality significantly. Based on categorization of Islamic personality score, most Islamic missionary activists are regarded having high Islamic personality. Keywords: Islamic personality, Tarbiyyah islamiyyah
