PENGARUH PELATIHAN EFIKASI DIRI DALAM MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI MATEMATIKA SISWA SMP

The main purpose of this research was to find out the influence of selfefficacy training in enhancing secondary students’ math achievement. This research was conducted to identify the difference between the math achievement of those who received the treatment and those who did not. Data collected used tes matematika, skala efikasi diri and tes berhitung. 48 students participated in this study were divided randomly into 2 groups, i.e. experimental and control. Result showed that there was no differences in math achievement between the two groups.(t=1,687; p=0,098). T test for gain score showed that self-efficacy training wasn’t effective enough to enhance math achievement. Key words: math achievement, self-efficacy.
