EFEKTIVITAS PROGRAM PELATIHAN BERPIKIR DIVERGEN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KREATIVITAS

The main purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of divergent thinking training programe to increase creativity. A Quasi experimental approach is used with the pre and post test controle group design. The subjects are 83 students of second class of Junior High School state in Margasari. The subject into experimental group (45 students) and control group (38 students). The creativity was measured by the verbal creativity test from Sri Catur Utami Munandar. In the early experiment all group given intelligence test, is later then by the pre test creativity. Divergent thinking training was administered four times to the experimental group and the control group did not receive this training. The post test of the verbal creativity was administered to both group at the end of the experiment. One month later then the post test of the verbal creativity was administered to both group. The result of the data were analyzed by anakova. The result showed there was a significant diffrence between the creativity of the experimental group and the control group by controlling influence intelligence to creativity (F = 186,293 ; p = 0,000). The experimental group showed higher creativity than the control group. According to the research result, divergent thinking training programe is effective to increase creativity.
