VALIDITAS DAN RELIABILITAS SKALA KEPEKAAN TERHADAP HUMOR

2006 | Tesis |Hasanat and Subandi (1998 and 1999) have developed the A and B version of Sense of Humor Scale as a conformist sense of humor measurement that consist of 76 cartoons who were created by Indonesian cartoonist. This thesis investigates the factor structure of Sense of Humor Scale. All of the data were collected by using web based design and supported by Upinet at Indonesian University of Education in Bandung, West Java. All participants are 464 undergraduate students (217 male and 247 female) between 18 to 24 years old. The result of the exploratory factor analysis by suppress absolute value less than 0,4 (factor loading) and invited professional judgement for factor meaning identification determined 4 factors (humor category) as a structure of Sense of Humor Scale. They were violence (quite dominance), moodiness, “parodi”, creativity-joke. The exploration seemed to have been successful in identifying a structure of Sense of Humor Scale and the psychometric characteristics of the scale also appeared to be satisfactory. There were no sex differences in any factor of the scales even full scale, except one of violence’s items that showed a difference appreciation between sex.
