HUBUNGAN ANTARA KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL DAN MOTIVASI KERJA DENGAN KINERJA PEGAWAI PANTI SOSIAL MA

This study examined the relationship between interpersonal communication and work motivation with employee performance. The sample of this research consists of 66 employees of social department in Makassar. The data were collected using three scales: Job performance scale, interpersonal communication scale, and work motivation scale. The data were analyses by using regression and analysis. The results of this study showed that (1) There was a significant correlation between interpersonal communication and work motivation with job performance (F=3.225; R=0.305; R2=0.093; p=0.045), (2) There was a significant correlation between interpersonal communication and job performance (r par xy=0.193; p=0.028), (3) However work motivation was not significant correlated with job performance (r par xy=0.037; p=0.680). Equality from interpersonal communication and guidance from work motivation were dominantly effect on job performance, with significance level p=0.007 and p=0.009.
