HUBUNGAN ANTARA DUKUNGAN ORGANISASI DAN BIG FIVE PERSONALITY DENGAN KOMITMEN ORGANISASI

2006 | Tesis |This study examined the relationship of perceived organizational support and big five personality with organizational commitment. Research subject was 224 employees of Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kabupaten Kebumen. Research data were collected using the perceived organizational support scales, big five personality scales, and organizational commitment scales. The data were analyzed using regression analysis. The result of regression analysis was found: (1) The most influential factors of perceived organizational support to organizational commitment is attention to employees welfare. Perceived organizationa l support factors that have significant relationship with affective commitment (r = 0.192 and p = 0,004), with continuance comitment (r = 0.133 and p = 0.044), with normative commitment ( r = 0.193 with p = 0.004), (2) Big five personality factors that have significant relationship with affective commitment were Ekstraversion (r = 0.126 and p = 0.058), Agreeableness (r = 0.134 and p = 0.044), and Openess to Experience ( r = 0.116 and p = 0.041), (3) Big five personality factors that have significant relationship with continuance commitment were Ekstraversion (r = 0.019 and p = 0.037), and Agreeableness (r = 0.169 and p = 0.012), (4) Big five personality factors that have significant relationship with normative commitment were Ekstraversion (r = 0.117 and p = 0.040), Agreeableness (r = 0.186 and p = 0.006), and Openess to Experience (r = 0.135 and p = 0.043 ).
