2006 | Tesis |The purposed of this research is to examined correlation between attitude toward the product and need for uniqueness to cellular phone buying decision. The subjects in this research were 60 students of Senior High School 2 of Gorontalo by using cluster of random sampling technique. Instruments of this research were scale of buying decision, scale of attitude towards to product and scale of need for uniqueness. The statistical formula used to examine the magnitute of the correlation was the regression analysis. The result showed that: (1) attitude towards to product and need for uniqueness significant by correlated with buying decision, with by R = 0.769 and P = 0.000; (2) There was very significant positive correlation between attitude towards to product and buying decision, with r – par = 0.768 and P = 0.000; (3) There was very significant positive correlation between need for uniqueness and buying decision ( r – Par = 0.400 and P = 0.001). Attiude towards to product and need for uniqueness is one important factor which can influence the cellular phone buying decision. An attitude towards which more positive, and an individual need for uniqueness which more high, so the buying decision, will be on high level.
