KEMANDIRIAN ANAK USIA DINI DITINJAU DARI PERILAKU LEKAT (ATTACHMENT BEHAVIOR)

The purpose of this study was to examine the correlations between attachment behavior and independency childhood of children preschool. Another purpose was to determine the attachment behavior and independency differences of childhood based on sex The were 40 subjects consistend of 23 boys and 17 girl who were recruited from preschool at Kebumen city. Ranging in age 3 to 5. Independency data were collected by observation and attachment behavior by the scale attachment behavior questionnaire. Data analysis showed that : (1) independency of childhood and attachment behavior was significantly correlated (F = 5.986 ; p 0.05) rerata R2 of boys : 91.478 and rerata R2 of girls : 93.294 (3) in general, girls had higher independency compared to boys (F = 7.589; p 0.05), (5) as whole, childhood involved in the study can be classified as having moderate independency.
