This research aimed to know the relation among adjustment and wife’s attitude to ideal concept of Javannes women with the wife’s marital happiness. Beside that the study also diskription about how far the relation among variables. This research raise hypothesis that is positive corelation of adjustment and attitude to concept about ideal woman of Java with the marital happiness wife. The Subject of this research were 105 wifes in region of Regency Sleman who have husband of Java men, have lived with the husband, with the marriage age more than five year and have membership ( minimum membership) from fathermother, grand father-grand mother Javaness. This research employed the purposive sampling technique. The Marital happiness measured by marital happiness scale from Suryomentaram, Suardiman, Reksohadiprodjo, and Suseno, the Adjustment measured with the scale adjustment from Tallent and Schneiders, attitude to ideal woman concept of Java measured by attitude scale from Likert and naskah wulang estri. The data was analysed by using regression analysis.
