This research aims to find the relationship between understand ing level on the meaning of interpretation of Semar figure in Java Wayang story and old tradition to observe spiritualism, with the wisdom of the older persons within Sapta Darma circle. Semar Wayang’s message is centering on justice on earth. Even though this figure is not real from historical perspective, the wisdom it sends has been philosophically internalized in the realms of mind of Java older persons, and is grouped into four categories in this research: 1) Conception on God , 2) Conception on Personality, 3) Conception on Humanity, and 4) Conception on Nature. Sapta Darma is one form of community spiritual practice, especially among Java older persons as a way to form wisdom. In Sapta Darma practice, older persons have found values of great influen ce on their wisdom behavior. This research is a population-study, with subjects (N) of 70 older persons centering in Yogyakarta, and ages range from 60 to 78 years old. Data are analyzed by correlation technique of product moment and variance analysis on SPSS 10.0 Windows program.
