PENALARAN MORAL SISWA DITINJAU DARI JENIS LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN DAN TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN ORANG TUA

2004 | Tesis |This research has two purposes, namely : first, to identify the difference of student moral reasoning based educational institution type, and second, to identify the difference of student moral reasoning viewed from parent’s educational level. The hypotheses in this research are, first, there is a difference of moral reasoning among the students of SLTP IT, Madrasah Tsanawiyah, and SLTP Umum, and second, there is a difference of moral reasoning among the student whose father’s educational level were high, medium, and low. Third, there is a difference of moral reasoning among the student whose mother’s educational level were high, medium, and low 67 students, 32 boys and 35 girls, on the second and third grade from SLTP IT Abu Bakar, Madrasah Tsanawiyah II Negeri Yogyakarta, and SLTP IX Negeri Yogyakarta, were participated in this research. All of subjects have above average (grade II) intelligence level. The subjects were selected using purposive sampling technique. This research data collected using the Kohlberg Scale, parent’s educational level questionnaire, and Standard Progressive Matrices (SPM). Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was applied to analyzed the data, which resulted that there is a difference of moral reasoning among the students of SLTP IT, Madrasah Tsanawiyah, and SLTP Umum (F : 4,898 ; p 0,05).
