This research aims to know the Local House of Representative member’s political attitude viewed from political socialization through family, educational institution, colleague, mass media, and political organization or political party. It is also to know the political behavior of the Local House of Representative member’s viewed from their political attitude and political socialization. This research subject was the members of Local House of Representative in Yogyakarta Special Region accounting 235 peoples who consisted of 48 persons of the members of the Local House of Representative from province, 35 persons of the members of the Local House of Representative from the Yogyakarta City, 39 persons of the members of the Local House of Representative from Bantul Regency, 34 persons of the members of the Local House of Representative from Kulon Progo Regency, 40 persons of the members of the Local House of Representative from Gunung Kidul Regency, and 39 persons of the members of the Local House of Representative from Sleman Regency. Data were collected by using an instrument, that is, inquiry spread to all of the research subjects and by documentation. After data were collected, it continues to make description about data and test for analysis requirement, meanwhile the hypothesis test was conducted by technical path analyze. The research result was concluded that the political attitude model of the Local House of Representative member’s in Yogyakarta Special Region psychologically cannot be descriped clearly trough a political socialization because from the five independent variables obviously there was two variables were significant, that was political socialization through mass media, and organization or political party. It is also that the political behavior model of the Local House of Representative member’s in Yogyakarta Special Region psychologically cannot be descriped clearly trough a political attitude and political socialization. In fact, hypothetical causal model was not supported by empirical data, so that the hypothetical causal model was different with empirical causal model.
