ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR KARYAWAN DITINJAU DARI PERSEPSI TERHADAP IKLIM ORGANISASI, MAS

2005 | Tesis |This research was conducted to investigate the relationship between perceived of organizational climate, job turner, and gender on employee’s organizational citizenship behavior. The subjects were PT Mirota Nayan’s employee in Yogyakarta, with sample = 89 subjects which collected randomly. The data were collected by using perceived of organizational climate scales and organizational citizenship behavior scales. Based on regression analysis, found that 1) there were corelation between perceived of organizational climate, job turner, and gender collectively with employee’s organizational citizenship behavior, R = 0.349 and p = 0.011; 2) perceived of organizational climate positively corelated with employee’s organizational citizenship behavior, r-partial = 0.335 and p = 0.002; 3) there was no positive corelation between job turner with employee’s organizational citizenship behavior, r-partial = - 0.050 and p = 0.648; and 4) there was no corelation between gender with employee’s organizational citizenship behavior, r-partial = 0.055 and p = 0.618. Perceived of organizational climate was one of many factors which influenced employee’s organizational citizenship behavior, with effective contribution = 11.525 %. The higher perceived of organizational climate will be followed by the higher employee’s organizational citizenship behavior. On the other way, job turner and gender did not influence employee’s organizational citizenship behavior significantly.
