The purpose of this study was to know reliability of thirteen subscales and composite reliability of self-concept scale Indonesian version, to know factor structure in self-concept scale Indonesian version, and to test know self concept differences between subject with different cultural background and gender. The subjects of this study were 489 students from three different universities, with detail 127 men, 353 women, 216 peoples with Javanese coastal area culture background, and 109 peoples with Javanese Hinterland culture background. Alpha Cronbach method was used for the estimation of sub scale reliability and composite score reliability was estimated by Mosier formula. To test construct validity of selfconcept scale Indonesian version was used confirmatory factor analysis, while to know self-concept structure of Indonesian student conducted with exploratory factor analysis. Score difference among different group tested with t-test. The result of this study show that coefficient of composite reliability was .98, and coefficient reliability of thirteen sub scale was between .5942 and .8924. The other result was that self-concept scale Indonesian version had construct validity,and there was not self-concept difference between subjects with different cultural background and gender.
