Abstract This research aimed to examine the correlations between emotional intelligence and self efficacy with work stress of the employees at UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. This research used insidental sampling technique. The subjects of this research were 120 employees. The data were collected by using three questionnaires (1) the work stress, (2) the emotional intelligence, (3) the self efficacy. The data were analized by using regression.
