Shear wave velocity of a medium is an important parameter in Geophysic to know the value of local site amplification. Amplification mapping itself is used to predict the amplitude of ground motion when the earthquake may occur. Therefore, it is important to conduct a research to obtain shear wave velocity below the earth's surface to mitigate people about an earthquake. The method can be used to obtain shear wave velocity, including Multichannel Analysis of Surface Wave (MASW) passive, MASW active, Spatial Autocorelation (SPAC), etc. Without using those methods, in this research has been done an experiment to measure Vs using seismic array. This method uses a principle of cross correlation between 2 datas at 2 receivers. Calculates the shear wave velocity subsurface by analyzing the dispersion curves of surface wave.
